Kippax fail to shine
Castleford Lock Lane 12 v Kippax Welfare 0 7th Nov 2009
Kippax headed down the road to Castleford for a top of the table clash.
Kippax returned to league action following two excellent performances in friendlies only to suffer their second successive league defeat. Lock Lane had the upper hand throughout and their bigger pack proved the difference between the two teams as Kippax struggled to contain them in defence and were unable to make much ground going forward.
Harrison, James and Azza put in some strong runs whilst Liam, Tom and Wes made some crucial tackles. There were promising breaks from Russell and Liam Mossa, Max and Sam worked tirelessly in defence and Ben was a safe pair of hands at the back. Thomas, Robbie and Harry ran onto the ball well and there were important tackles made by Jack, Luke and James Bar.
