Kippax Welfare U9s v Hunslet Parkside U9s 22nd Nov 2009

With the kick off delayed for 45 minutes both sides were eager to start on a bitterly cold morning.

An excellent team effort with some particularly strong defence saw Kippax avenge an earlier defeat in a physical match where both sides gave their all.

Takudzwa was nominated MOM by Hunslet after a super show which saw him score 4 tries to scoop Top Try Scorer and also take the plaudits for Top Tackler. An excellent display of hard running from Charlotte won her Most Improved and Zak capped a great match by dancing his way over the line to take Best Try. Destructive running from Harry saw him make good ground every time he ran the ball in whilst Nathan distributed the ball well from acting half and made some crucial tackles. Josh took Best Tackle after toppling a player twice his size whilst Adam was a constant threat with his mazy runs and Alfie  drove the ball in well despite some strong defence.

With the squad progressing well new players are always welcome and training is 5.30 pm on a Thursday on Longdyke Lane.
