Hunslet Warriors v Kippax Welfare April 9th 2010

Kippax headed to Hunslet for their first meeting as Under 9's

Kippax put in another great performance against a well drilled Warriors outfit. the first half was nip and tuck and with the advantage of going downhill in the second half it look like Kippax could take the spoils. However, they suffered from a lack of replacements as the game wore on and Hunslet ran in several late try's.

Man of the Match Harry shone in both attack and defence and capped a great all round display with a wonderful score which saw him skip through the Warriors defence. Takudzwa proved too hot to handle as he crossed the whitewash five times to take MOM runner up whilst Nathan took Most Improved with a good tackle count and great distribution from acting half. Josh made a try saving tackle on the line as he won the Coaches Merit Awarding and Adam topped the tackle count with a super defensive display. Forwards Charlotte and Alex had Hunslet on the back foot with some strong running and Alfie also made good ground going forward.
