Kippax Welfare U9's v Shaw Cross Sharks U9's 27th June 2010

Kippax brought the curtain down on the season with a home fixture  against Shaw Cross on the warmest day of the year.

Kippax closed their season with a great all round team effort against Shaw Cross and scored 5 tries in the process. Takudzwa Murangari scored twice in the first half and added another brace in the second half to take the Oppositions MOM. Josh Nicholson topped the tackle count and made some good runs on his way to MOM whilst a strong defensive effort in the second half saw Adam Hepworth take MOM runner up. Direct running from Charlotte Byers and Coaches Merit winner Alex Dakeyne gained some good field position for Kippax and Nathan Collins was a safe pair of hands at acting half. Some nice footwork from Harry Goodall saw him register a well taken try and Alfie Southernwood worked tirelessly in defence and a solid display from Zak robinson earned him Most Improved.
